Neon Therapeutics, Cambridge, MA
Neon Therapeutics is committed to advancing the field of cancer immunotherapy, targeting the biology of abnormal proteins called “neoantigens”.
The move to 30,000sf at BioMed’s Sidney Research Campus provided an opportunity to design space reflective of Neon’s corporate culture. Bright colors and open office design signals Neon’s collaborative work style. A large break room, suitable for company-wide meetings, forms the heart of the space. A smaller 2nd floor lounge space opens to a south-facing exterior deck, while the 1st floor coffee bar opens directly to Sidney Research Center’s landscaped, public plaza. Located on the ground floor, the lab spaces feature high ceilings and abundant natural light. Due to the building’s multi-levels, a zoned lab layout approach was employed with a “cross-roads” corridor that permits access to office areas and the communicating stair.
