R E Dinneen recently designed new facilities for Proteostasis at Boston Landing. The 28,000sf office and lab space is on the 5th floor. Arriving in the elevator lobby one immediately experiences an open feeling with views through to the reception area and board room with large, south-facing 12-foot windows. The color scheme borrows from the company’s corporate identity with blue, purple and burgundy accent colors contrasted with neutral gray flooring and walls. A variety of work areas support different styles including 120 open plan work stations, huddle rooms and breakout areas. A kitchen/lounge area with several styles of seating serves small group meetings and company-wide gatherings. The lab areas include biology, freezer farm, microscope room, and two tissue culture labs.
